Paediatric Occupational therapy is a service that helps children develop, gain, or maintain the skills they need for daily living. This form of therapy is especially useful for children who have physical, sensory, or cognitive difficulties. Together we set goals that are important for you and your child, and will enable them to participate as fully as possible in all of their environments, including home, school or kinder activities.
Occupational therapy for children may include a variety of strategies and interventions. Some examples of goals we may work towards are;

SERVICES
VIDEO SELF MODELLING
We use technology to empower your child’s self-belief and understanding of goals. Video self-modelling is a highly powerful technique where individuals watch videos of themselves successfully completing a task or overcoming a challenge to improve their skills and behaviours. Learn more about our work with video self modelling.
We offer our experience in supervision services to any newer occupational therapy graduates. Support can include training on specific topics, video analysis, or case study discussions.
SUPERVISION SERVICES
Using a neuro-developmental treatment approach, we offer intensive therapy blocks (three sessions/week) to help your child work on targeted skills. Some examples include self-feeding, access to technology, dressing and so on.
Depending on the goals, we may complete these intensive therapy blocks with the support of other professionals in the community, such as a physiotherapist or a speech therapist.
